The Northern Ireland Football League is getting its own unique match ball for the coming season - and it's been inspired by the Giant's Causeway.

uhlsport have unveiled the ball that will be used in the Danske Bank Premiership as well as the BetMcLean League Cup, Bluefin Sport Championship and Premier Intermediate Leagues.

The NIFL press release said it is inspired by the history, heritage and folklore of Northern Ireland and, in particular, The Giant's Causeway and Finn McCool.

The 'tessellation' design is a nod to the rocks at the Causeway.
