Players celebrate Liverpool’s Champions League win over Manchester City

The Reds are through to the semi-finals after a 5-1 aggregate victory.

Liverpool survived a Manchester City onslaught at the Etihad Stadium to reach the Champions League semi-finals, securing a 2-1 victory and a 5-1 aggregate success.

Gabriel Jesus opened the scoring after just two minutes on Tuesday but second-half goals from Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino killed off any hopes of a City fightback.

Here, Press Association Sport looks at some of the reaction to Liverpool’s win.
