Andy Keogh has joined Cardiff on a season-long loan from Wolves, the npower Championship club have announced.
Republic of Ireland international Keogh joins other high-profile loan recruits at the City of Cardiff Stadium, including Manchester City's Craig Bellamy, Wigan's Jason Koumas and Manchester United's Daniel Drinkwater.
A statement on Cardiff's official website, www.cardiffcityfc.co.uk, read: "We can confirm that striker Andy Keogh has this afternoon joined the club from Wolverhampton Wanderers on a season-long loan."
It continued: "Republic of Ireland international Andy will link up with the squad in Cardiff tomorrow (Thursday) and will be available for selection this weekend in our away trip to Portsmouth. He will wear the number 17 shirt."
Wolves manager Mick McCarthy revealed the impending move after the Carling Cup win over Southend last night and confirmed the deal on Wednesday.
McCarthy said on his club's official website, www.wolves.co.uk: "Andy has been fabulous here both for me and this football club. It's a good move for him to go to Cardiff and good luck to him."
