Evra backs De Gea
Manchester United full-back Patrice Evra has backed under-pressure goalkeeper David De Gea to overcome his difficult start to life at Old Trafford.
The young Spaniard has been criticised for his performances in the two games he has played since arriving from Atletico Madrid in the summer, when he conceded questionable goals against Manchester City in the Community Shield and West Brom in last week's Premier League opener.
But former France captain Evra insists the 20-year-old will be a success in time, and told Sky Sports News: "I had the same thing when I joined Man Utd. This is the way, when you play for Manchester United to accept criticism."
He added: "I'm sure, I'm confident, everyone is behind him, he's a very talented player and I know he is going to make it."
