Roy Hodgson is expected to be named as Crystal Palace's next manager.
The London club dismissed Frank De Boer after only four games of the Premier League season. Palace have lost all four of the fixtures so far without scoring a goal.
De Boer was in charge at Selhurt park for just 77 days. Hodgson is already as short as 1/10 to be next in the hotseat with reports suggesting the former England manager, 70, will sign a two year deal before Palace take on Southampton on Saturday.
On Sunday, Palace chairman Steve Parish had tweeted: "We are 4 games in, it's a terrible start but we have to stick together." Just 16 hours later, De Boer's short stint at the club was over.
Hodgson has so far enjoyed a 41 year managerial career, taking charge of the likes of Inter Milan, Udinese, Liverpool and Fulham and was, of course, the England manager from 2012 to 2016.
