Ibrahimovic 'unlikely' to be offered new Manchester United deal

Zlatan Ibrahimovic's stay at Manchester United looks to be over.

The 35 year-old forward netted 28 goals during his season at Old Trafford, 17 in the Premier League, but it is now expected that he will move on.

Ibrahimovic suffered a cruciate ligament injury during the Europa League quarter-final against Anderlecht and, although he underwent successful surgery at the start of May, it is an injury that, according to Sky Sports, will spell the end of his time at Manchester United.

Manchester United, meanwhile, are being heavily linked with a move for Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata as they look to replace talisman Ibrahimovic.

The Daily Mirror are reporting that United have issued a £60million take-it-or-leave-it offer for Morata after Madrid turned down an opening bid of £54.7million.
