Jamal Lewis an injury doubt for Northern Ireland after suffering potential broken elbow
Northern Ireland left-back Jamal Lewis is an injury doubt for the upcoming Euro 2020 qualifiers.
The Norwich played 90 minutes of his side's 2-0 Premier League defeat at Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon but following the game manager Daniel Farke revealed his concerns over an elbow injury suffered when Lewis fell awkwardly while chasing Jordan Ayew
"He fell on his elbow and needs a scan. It is possible it could be broken and another long term injury. Let's wait for the scan," said the boss.
The news will be a worry for international manager Michael O'Neill, whose side play the Netherlands in Rotterdam in less than two weeks.
Then a month later comes the final Euro 2020 qualifying double-header with the Netherlands' visit to Belfast and Northern Ireland's trip to Germany.
Norwich and Northern Ireland goalkeeper Michael McGovern made his first league appearance since April 2017 when he came off the bench to replace the injured Ralf Fahrmann after 22 minutes.
