Javier Hernandez to Liverpool or Chelsea? Bayer Leverkusen 'ready to sell' Reds target

Javier Hernandez looks set to leave Bayer Leverkusen after apparently falling out with teammates, with a return to the Premier League being mooted.

According to Bild, the Bundesliga club are willing to sell the former Manchester United player "immediately" if a club offers €25m (£21m).

While the German paper believes no concrete offers have been made yet, Chicharito has been linked with a move to Liverpool and Chelsea in recent weeks. The Guardian reckons the club will hold out until the summer.

West Ham have reportedly joined the race to sign highly-rated Celtic forward Moussa Dembele with a bid of £20m being rumoured.

The 20-year-old striker has been linked with Liverpool, but should Jurgen Klopp want to secure the Frenchman's services he will have to move quick.

Liverpool are one of a host of Premier League clubs keeping tabs on Nottingham Forest youngster Ben Brereton, according to the Nottingham Post.

The 17-year-old is yet to make a first-team appearance for the Championship club but did play against the Reds' under-18s side in an FA Youth Cup game last season.

Manchester United are said to be another top-flight club who have been sending scouts to watch Brereton in the Forest reserves.

One man who will not turning out at Anfield this season is Jon Flanagan. There were reports earlier this week that the defender might have his loan cancelled by Burnley after struggling with more injuries but the Liverpool Echo believes there is no break clause in the deal between the clubs.
