Lindegaard on form in comeback

Goalkeeper Anders Lindegaard was the penalty shoot-out hero for Manchester United as he made his comeback from an ankle injury.

The Denmark international has been out of action for three months after suffering ligament damage in training. Whilst he is unlikely to get his first-team place back before the end of the season, Lindegaard might at least make a claim to be in his country's Euro 2012 squad.

And he was the hero on Tuesday evening as United reached the Lancashire Senior Cup final with a shoot-out triumph over Blackpool.
