Barcelona are readying one final attempt to lure PHILIPPE COUTINHO to the Nou Camp this summer, according to today's transfer rumours.

Meanwhile, Liverpool are looking at getting in a quick replacement with the Premier League season already under way.

The Sunday Mirror named both Napoli winger LORENZO INSIGNE and Shalke's MAX MEYER as potential signings for the Reds, should Coutinho leave the club. According to the Mirror, Insigne is Jurgen Klopp's first choice and could cost up to £60 million as he netted 18 Serie A strikes last season. Meyer's contract, meanwhile, expires next summer and is said to be an alternative option for the Reds.

And added to that, the Mirror also report that Liverpool could turn instead to Nice star JEAN MICHAEL SERI, who has a buyout clause of £36.3m. Seri is an Ivory Coast international who is also reportedly interesting Arsenal, Barcelona and PSG. The 26 year-old midfielder netted seven Ligue 1 goals last season.

That's all as Barcelona, according to the Sun, prepare an eye-watering £137 million bid for Coutinho after Liverpool rejected the Brazilian's transfer request. The Catalan club had a £90 million bid turned down for the player earlier this month.

Former Manchester United target ANTOINE GRIEZMANN could leave Atletico Madrid this summer after all.

The France forward decided to stay with the Spanish club this summer due to their transfer ban.

But, according to Spanish outlet Don Balon, he could reverse that decision if the club sell goalkeeper Jan Oblak before the end of August.

JACK WILSHERE is a man in demand as it looks like his Arsenal days are numbered.

The England international, who spent last season on loan at Bournemouth, did not make the Gunners squad on the opening day of the season and could be set for a permanent exit.

It looks like he will have plenty of options to consider, with the Sun claiming Newcastle, West Ham, Crystal Palace and Bournemouth are all interested in the 25-year-old.

RIYAD MAHREZ is no closer to a Leicester exit. The 2016 PFA Player of the Year has expressed his desire to leave the club but the Mirror reports the Foxes are refusing to accept less than £50million and will reject Roma's latest £31.8m offer.

Tottenham are pushing to add to their squad before the end of the transfer window. The Mirror claims Lazio forward KEITA BALDE and Ajax defender DAVINSON SANCHEZ are both targets.
