Turkish club Besiktas have posted a picture of goalkeeper Loris Karius on their Twitter account ahead of his proposed two-year loan deal from Liverpool.

Karius, who has been supplanted as the No.1 stopper at Anfield thanks to the arrival of Alisson, was widely expected to depart the Reds following his two horror mistakes in the Champions League final.

The German conceded two soft goals that eventually led to Real Madrid winning 3-1 in the final, which in turn caused Liverpool to break the then world transfer record for a goalkeeper to sign Alisson.

And now it appears Karius has got his move away from the Premier League, even if it hasn't been officially announced, as Besiktas posted the image as the cover photo on their Twitter account.

It was known for a long time that the two clubs were in discussions over the extended loan spell, which is not a permanent transfer, and this picture appears to suggest that the deal has gone through.
