Klopp sickener as Leicester pile the pressure on Liverpool

Leicester City 2-0 Liverpool

By Robert Jones

Exasperated Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp said he felt sickened by more sloppy defending by his side in a 2-0 Carabao English League Cup defeat by Leicester.

But Klopp will know his own performance must be coming under scrutiny after four games without a win after goals from Shinji Okazaki and Islam Slimani steered Leicester into the last 16 following a Liverpool dominated first half.

Klopp fumed: "We played really good football in the first half, we should have decided the game early. I can say it one time or 1,000 times or whatever - it's not nice to have to concede goals the way we did.

"I'm sick of goals like this to be honest, you cannot play football and do that. They scored too easy."
