The transfer window will open in just one week's time and so the transfer rumour silly season is well under way.
Under new changes, the window will open from Thursday, May 17 and will close on the Thursday before the new season begins; Thursday, August 9.
That gives Premier League teams exactly 12 weeks to make changes to their squads ahead of the new season kicking-off.
So - what are the rumours doing the rounds with a week to go?
First of all, there could be a spectacular return to Liverpool for Luis Suarez, according to rumours in the Spanish media, as cited by teamtalk.com.
It is reported that Barca could consider selling the Uruguayan star if they manage to land Atletico Madrid's Antoine Griezmann this summer. With Liverpool struggling for depth to back up their first-choice forward line, it's clear to see why the link may be made between the club and Suarez, who became a hero amongst the Kopites during his three year stay at Anfield from 2011 to 2014.
Next to be linked with Liverpool is Porto defender Diogo Leite. The centre-back is just 19 and has yet to make his senior debut for the club but has already imressed Anfield scouts with performances for Porto II, according to the Guardian. The report discusses Leite's €15m release clause and also links Arsenal and Manchester City with interest in the Portuguese U19 international. If Liverpool do land their man, he will be sent out on loan next season.
Another player rumoured to be on his way is a big name but comes with a disappointing caveat for LFC fans. He's Real Madrid attacker Lucas Vazquez. Spanish transfer rumour extraordinaires Don Balon have claimed the 26-year-old has told Madrid team-mate Sergio Ramos that he could be off to Anfield this summer as a makeweight in a deal to bring Mohamed Salah in the other direction. Spanish international Vazquez has started 16 La Liga matches this season and Don Balon report that Jurgen Klopp 'would love' to bring him in, if he does have to lose Salah.
There are separate reports on Don Balon that Mohamed Salah has "already reached a pact" to join Real Madrid this summer.
A potential transfer for Wayne Rooney makes the papers for a second day straight, with the Daily Mail reporting England's record goalscorer has told Everton that he wants to join DC United in a £12.5million move Stateside. Meanwhile, the Birmingham Mail reports that newly-promoted Wolves are favourites to land the signature of the 32-year-old in the summer, according to the Birmingham Mail.
Matthijs de Ligt has told his current club Ajax he wants to leave in the summer, with two Premier League clubs interested in taking the £50million-rated defender on, according to the Mirror. Manchester City and Tottenham are both keen on landing the Dutchman, the paper said.
Three clubs will enter a bidding war to sign Hannover's 25-year-old German striker Niclas Fullkrug, with Leicester, Newcastle and Watford all interested, the Leicester Mercury reports.
Elsewhere, Paris St Germain are said to be leading the chase to sign Fulham's highly-rated teenager Ryan Sessegnon, according to the Daily Mirror. The Ligue 1 champions could have to shell out upwards of £50million to land the 17-year-old, with Tottenham, Manchester City and Manchester United also keen to tempt the England under-21 international away from Craven Cottage.
Bernd Leno: Arsenal are looking at the German goalkeeper, currently at Leverkusen, as a replacement for Petr Cech, says Bild.
Wilfried Kanon: Sam Allardyce is hoping to bring the 24-year-old centre-back to Goodison from Den Haag, reports the Mirror.
