Liverpool's top four stutter continues as Stoke seal valuable point
Liverpool 0-0 Stoke City
Stoke picked up a hard-earned point at Liverpool that gives their survival hopes some added steel.
Liverpool have now drawn three of their last four league games and this result leaves Jurgen Klopp's side nine points ahead of Chelsea, the Blues having four games left to play in their bid to sneak a top four spot.
Mohamed Salah missed a one-on-one for Liverpool early in the game and the hosts were denied a late penalty, their appeals for handball falling on deaf ears.
Stoke threatened to win it straight after that pivotal decision but shot narrowly wide.
The point takes Stoke up to 30 points and still in the bottom three with two games to go, but gives their relegation rivals plenty to think about.
