Watch: Did Karius make another error on his Besiktas debut?
His efforts for this late equaliser has been criticised but some Liverpool fans have come to his defence
On-loan Liverpool goalkeeper Loris Karius has hit the headlines again after his Besiktas debut.
After 86 minutes, everything looked good for the German, who had made this one-on-one stop and looked to be helping his side to a 1-0 win at Bursaspor thanks to a goal from ex-Red Ryan Babel:

However, it all went wrong when a cross came in from the left, Karius took a couple of steps off his goal-line and former West Ham player Diafra Sakho converted at the near post:

Some fans have been quick to hammer the 25-year-old on Twitter, one calling him 'completely clueless'. But others have come to his defence, instead blaming former Real Madrid centre-half Pepe, one saying: "go watch the highlights again before u start blaming karius..poor marking at the back."
What did you make of it?
