Premier League champions Manchester City are set to complete the signing of Jorginho from Napoli this week.
The fee for the Brazilian-born Italian international is set to be £46.5million as he closes in on his expected transfer to the Etihad Stadium.
The final details between the clubs are being sorted - with one particular sticking point believed to be the five per cent sell-ons that are due to the midfielder's previous club Verona.
Jorginho posted a picture on Instagram boarding a flight at the end of a family holiday to Brazil and is expected to head for Manchester for a medical when an agreement is reached.
The playmaker made 37 appearances for Serie A runners up Napoli last season, scoring three goals, including one against City in the Champions League in November.
It is no secret that Manchester City have had Jorginho as a target for some time now, but negotiations haven’t been the easiest for City.
According to reports earlier this month, Napoli turned down a €50million bid from City for the player.
