Increasingly unpredictable Jose Mourinho's bizarre behaviour in the lead up to Wednesday's crucial Europa League final continued at Old Trafford yesterday.

The Manchester United manager's post-match press conference lasted less than 30 seconds as he arrived in a near deserted room and left before any questions could be asked.

Within seconds of his press secretary asking were there "any questions?" from approximately four journalists present, he said "bye guys" and left the room grinning.

Having seen the youngest United team in Premier League history wrap up the club's domestic season with a 2-0 win over Crystal Palace, Mourinho spoke to United's in-house channel MUTV only very briefly, saying: "Don't ask me too many things because now I am in a final. Let me go home, I am in a final now."

When then asked if he knew his team for the final against Ajax in Stockholm, Mourinho replied: "I know, but let me go. I am in a final now."
