Jose Mourinho resigned to transfer frustration with no arrivals expected at Manchester United on deadline day
Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is resigned to ending today without signing the defender he wants.
The club have been linked to Harry Maguire, Toby Alderweireld, Jerome Boateng and Yerry Mina.
However, the Old Trafford boss isn't optimistic that any deal will go through before today's 5pm transfer deadline.

Will there be any incomings or outgoings at United?
"The information I have is no," said a glum looking Jose Mourinho.
"I am not confident and the market closes today so it's time, at least for me, to stop thinknig about the market. I will have to focus on the players I have and in relation to these first three matches (until the international break), I have to focus on the players that are available."
Leicester are thought to have made it clear that England World Cup hero Maguire is NOT for sale while there is a key complication to any potential deal for Tottenham's Alderweireld. Bleacher Report (via the Express) do claim that the player has agreed terms with United but the problem is Spurs value the centre-half at £60m, even if a clause in his contract means he could leave for £25m next summer.
Mina is expected to instead join Everton while Boateng is reported to have told Mourinho he does not want to join the club.
