Northern Ireland Under-19 goalkeeper Ollie Webber has signed a new professional deal with Premier League club Crystal Palace.

The Portsmouth-born 18-year-old, who was given his first professional deal last summer, has agreed to terms that will see him stay at Selhurst Park for another season.

He spent most of last season on loan at Greenwich Borough having impressed for the Eagles' Under-23 side, making 15 appearances and keeping five clean sheets in the Isthmian League.

There is a chance for Webber, who joined Crystal Palace three years ago from Glentoran, to establish himself in the Premier League side after the departure of long-time stopper Julian Speroni.

"I’m delighted to get another contract at such a big club," Webber told irishfa.com. "I really hope this propels my international career and hopefully I can push my way into the first-team frame at Palace."

Webber made his international debut for the Under-19s last September in the 4-1 friendly win over Slovakia at the Newry Showgrounds.
