Rampant Pool turn heat back on City
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp said his players were hungry to keep the heat on Manchester City in the Premier League title race after blowing away Huddersfield Town 5-0 last night.
The Reds are back on top, two points clear of the reigning champions who can regain top spot if they win their game in hand at Burnley tomorrow. But after Naby Keita's goal after 15 seconds - the Reds' quickest ever goal in a Premier League match - and two strikes each from Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah, Klopp is staying defiant.
"We are happy with the points we have and now we are focused on the next game," he said. "We have a mindset that works and we try to create problems for each opponent by working hard.
"It's obviously an outstanding group of players, who did well against a Huddersfield side who are better than the result shows."
