Northern Ireland Under-17 international Sean McAllister has signed his first professional deal with Premier League club Everton.

The 17-year-old midfielder from Randalstown has agreed terms on a two-year deal at Goodison Park that sees him enter the pro ranks for the first time.

A creative and energetic player in the middle of the park, McAllister's deal comes after an excellent first season with Everton, impressing as part of their Under-18 side.

McAllister scored twice and set up a further three goals for Everton in the Under-18 Premier League, while he also made one appearance in the FA Youth Cup.

That has led to the Northern Irish youngster being offered a multi-year contract until June 2022 by the Liverpool club, who signed him from Dungannon Swifts last summer.

Also capable of playing in defence, McAllister was also a stand-out for the Northern Ireland Under-17s, scoring four goals in their qualifying campaign for the European Under-17 Championships.
