Former Blackpool loanee Marcel Seip has been awarded more than £70,000 in damages after a court battle with the club over an unpaid promotion bonus.
Seip played seven times for the Seasiders whilst on loan from Plymouth during the 2009-10 campaign, during which they won promotion to the Barclays Premier League.
The Dutchman also scored twice during his spell with the club from September-December 2009 and has now successfully contended that he was entitled to a promotion bonus.
Blackpool were awarded £5.15million following their successful campaign but excluded loan players who had left the club from their bonus distribution after interpreting contracts differently.
Seip has won his case and been awarded £72,206 plus legal costs and interest.
The club were involved in another dispute with captain Charlie Adam last season.
Adam claimed he was not paid a bonus due for avoiding relegation - also in the season they won promotion.
