Final chapter: Son Heung-min celebrates Tottenham’s second goal against Brentford last night

Tottenham set up a Carabao Cup final with either Manchester United or Manchester City but their 2-0 semi-final win over Brentford featured an ugly challenge on Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.

Brentford's Josh Da Silva was sent off for the horrendous tackle but goals from Moussa Sissoko and Son Heung-Min fired Tottenham into the final at Wembley on April 25.

Spurs boss Jose Mourinho audibly decried the tackle as a 'disgrace' on TV footage.

United and City will contest the other semi-final at Old Trafford tonight.

Mourinho has won the trophy on four occasions while Tottenham are aiming for a first trophy since 2008.
