Sir Alex Ferguson out of intensive care, says Manchester United
Former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson is out of intensive care after his emergency operation on a brain haemorrhage.
Manchester United said he would continue rehabilitation as an inpatient.
"His family have been overwhelmed by the level of support and good wishes but continue to request privacy as this will be vital during this next stage of recovery," the club said.

The 76-year-old had surgery on Saturday after taking ill.
The news united the footballing world with messages of support flooding in for the Scot from every club and support.
The Premier League's longest-serving and most successful manager retired in 2013. Under his management he made the Old Trafford club one of the biggest in the world winning 38 trophies over 26 years.
