Tottenham Hotspur ground out a 1-0 victory over Everton at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last night.
The victory, thanks to a first half own goal by Everton's Michael Keane, has given the north London side a major lift in their quest to secure a place in the Europa League next season. Spurs have moved up to eighth in the Premier League, just a point behind bitter rivals Arsenal, who they face on Sunday.
In what was a dull affair, the only moment of real drama came at half time when Tottenham captain Hugo Lloris became embroiled in a furious bust-up with team-mate Heung-Min Son as they left the field. The players had to be separated as they walked down the tunnel.
