West Brom's James McClean to face disciplinary proceedings after refusing to attend training camp
West Brom midfielder James McClean will face "internal disciplinary proceedings" after he refused to attend the club's four-day training camp in Scotland.
McClean has been linked with a move away from the Hawthorns to join up with Sky Bet Championship rivals Stoke City.
Stoke remain in talks with the Baggies over a deal for the Republic of Ireland international, although the clubs are still wide apart in their valuations.
Stoke are understood to be prepared to pay £4m, while West Brom want at least £6m for the winger.
McClean follows the stance adopted by Ben Foster and Craig Dawson earlier in the summer as both refused to go on a pre-season training camp to Portugal.
Foster got a move to Watford, Dawson however has been given permission to miss this trip as he's just become a father.
McClean has spent three years at The Hawthorns, making 112 appearances for West Brom since joining the club from Wigan.
