Celtic hit with another UEFA fine after Armagh Hoops fan invaded pitch during PSG clash
It's the club's 12th UEFA fine in under six years and adds to a sizeable combined amount
Celtic have been hit with a four figure fine after a pitch invader ran towards PSG star Kylian Mbappe during the Champions League tie last month.
The Glasgow club have been fined £9,000 by UEFA after Northern Irishman John Hatton, 21, entered the playing field during the 40th minute of the tie that the visitors went on to win 5-0.
Hatton later pleaded guilty to behaviour likely to incite public disorder and was handed a community payback order.
Celtic have now been hit by UEFA disciplinary measures for the 12th time in less than six years. Since December 2011, the club have forked out £176,616 in UEFA fines. Celtic were handed a £20,000 fine earlier this season for displaying illicit banners when they hosted Linfield in a Champions League qualifier.
PSG have also been fined £4,000 for acts of damage after seats were broken at Celtic Park.
