Shamrock Rovers have announced that Scottish champions Celtic will come to Dublin on Saturday, July 7 for a pre-season friendly.

Celtic will use the upcoming friendly at Tallaght Stadium for their preparation for a UEFA Champions League qualification campaign.

Brendan Rodgers brought a full-strength line-up over for a similar friendly last season and beat their hosts 9-0. The goals came from Mikael Lustig, Stuart Armstrong (2), Moussa Dembélé, Scott Sinclair (2), James Forrest, Jonny Hayes and Tom Rogic.

Kick-off for the game will be at 3pm.

Tickets go on sale from 3pm on Wednesday, May 23 at www.shamrockrovers.ie/match-tickets/.

Ticket prices are €30 for adults and €17.50 for children under the age of 14. You can get a premium ticket, which includes access to the 1899 Suite from 1pm with live music, a full cash bar, hot food sales and a reserved Main Stand seat for €45.

Shamrock Rovers season ticket holders and club members will have access to a pre-sale.
