Jim Goodwin's style of play angers Ross County boss Derek Adams

Ross County boss Derek Adams has described Jim Goodwin as a "ghost", claiming the St Mirren skipper got away with conceding a late penalty and kicking "lumps" out of his players during the Staggies' 2-1 Scottish Premiership defeat in Paisley.

Saints were leading 2-0 a fortnight ago when the original game was abandoned in the second-half because of a waterlogged pitch and were back in front with the same scoreline following goals from Steven Thompson and Conor Newton either side of the break.

Steven Saunders pulled a goal back, and Adams said: "Jim Goodwin wasn't playing today, was he? He had seven or eight fouls and didn't have a booking.

"He handled the ball last week (against Partick Thistle) and he handled the ball this week. I don't think he actually plays football any more."
