Celtic's Champions League dream went up in smoke last night after they were floored 2-1 by Hungarian side Ferencvaros.

Neil Lennon's stunned Hoops now drop into the Europa League third qualifying round.

David Siger's fine strike rocked the Celts but the hosts replied through Ryan Christie's deflected finish.

Tomack Nguen slotted in the winner with 15 minutes remaining.

It's the first time in 15 years that Celtic have exited Europe's premier club competition before the third qualifying round.

The last time was against Artmedia Bratislava in 2005 and the Bhoys miss out on the Champions League group stage for a third season in a row.
