Rangers and Celtic have both added to their options with the Scottish transfer window closing tonight.

Rangers have completed the season-long loan signing of Nottingham Forest centre-half Joe Worrall as well as winger Eros Grezda while Celtic have signed former Kilmarnock defender Youssouf Mulumbu.

Worrall, who was also said to be attracting interest from Celtic, is a former England U18 captain and has been a key part of the England U21 side in their qualifying campaign for next year's UEFA U21 Championships. Worrall started 28 Championship games last season but has yet to be involved in a first-team squad this term after Forest spent £20m on summer recruits.

Albanian winger Eros Grezda has joined the Gers on a four-year deal, arriving from NK Osijek. He follows in the footsteps of Borsa Barisic, who made the same move earlier this summer.

“He is an excellent player and the fans will love him because he can contribute in the final third," said Steven Gerrarrd.

“He’s really quick, very direct and he comes in with international experience. According to Borna and Nikola Katic he was by a mile Osijek’s best player last season."

Meanwhile, Mulumbu, 31, arrives at Celtic with seven seasons of Premier League experience, picked up during a long spell at West Brom and a season at Norwich City. He spent last season at Kilmarnock, where he bagged his only goal in a 1-0 victory over Celtic in February.

“I walked on to the pitch when I signed and it felt amazing. These are the reasons we play football," he told the Celtic website.

“This is what you work for as a footballer. To play in a big team like Celtic is just amazing. I always work very hard and I want to help the young lads here. We have so much to achieve. We need to do well in the Europa League, retain all the domestic trophies and continue winning the Glasgow derbies. It’s amazing to be part of that.”

Celtic have also secured a season-long loan deal for Filip Benkovic. The defender joined Leicester City for £13m earlier this summer but was an interested spectator at Celtic Park on Thursday evening as the club sealed a spot in the Europa League group stages.

However, the Hoops have lost star striker Moussa Dembele.

Rangers also face a fight to hold on to Alfredo Morelos. The Daily Mail report that Dynamo Kiev are readying a £7m offer for the Colombian, although Rangers are hoping to convince him to stay with a new £30,000-a-week deal. Boss Steven Gerrard has said that Morelos will not be going anywhere.
