Rangers hope Spurs starlets will bolster revival mission

By Staff Reporter

Rangers are set to land Tottenham Hotspur pair Dominic Ball and Nathan Oduwa on loan. The duo, both products of the English Premier League side's academy, will be in Glasgow today to undergo medicals.

If successful, both will move to Scotland until the end of the season. Oduwa (19) is a left-sided midfielder who is yet to make his top team bow for Spurs.

An England Under-18 international, he spent time at Luton Town on loan during the last campaign, making 11 appearances, eight of which were from the bench.

Team-mate Ball can play either as a central defender or defensive midfielder.

The 20-year-old is also yet to feature in the first team and had a spell with Cambridge United last season, again making 11 appearances, nine of which were from the start.

Ball played at international youth level for Northern Ireland before switching to his birth nation England last year.

He has gone on to represent the side at Under 19 and Under 20s level.

Ball said on Twitter: 'Buzzing to have signed for @RangersFC on loan, looking forward to helping them have a successful season!
