Rangers sign former Championship attacker on two year deal
Rangers have announced their fourth signing of the summer as Steven Gerrard bolsters his squad for the new season.
Former Birmingham forward Greg Stewart has penned a two year deal at Ibrox, adding to the signings of Jake Hastie as well as Northern Ireland winger Jordan Jones and the permanent capture of NI captain Steven Davis.
Stewart, 29, is a Scottish Premiership veteran, having spent five of the last six seasons in the division.
His impressive performances for Dundee earned him a reported £575k move to Birmingham City back in 2016 but after just six starts in England's second tier, he has spent time at Aberdeen and Kilmarnock at on loan during the last three campaigns.
He joins Rangers on a free contract with his three-year deal at Birmingham having expired.
Stewart began his career in the Rangers Academy before moving to Cowdenbeath to begin his senior career. He is uncapped by Scotland.
He will provide competition for left-wing spot
