Tributes to Ray Wilkins – in pictures

Wilkins died in hospital on Wednesday following a cardiac arrest last weekend.

Clubs up and down the country paid tribute to Ray Wilkins with a minutes applause ahead of Saturday’s matches following the death of the former England midfielder on Wednesday.

Wilkins, who represented Chelsea, Manchester United, AC Milan, Rangers and QPR during his career, died in hospital following a cardiac arrest last weekend.
