I'm fired up to take on World, says Rashford
Marcus Rashford says he's ready to fire at the World Cup after producing a moment of magic in England's 2-0 friendly win over Costa Rica last night.
Manchester United forward Rashford broke the deadlock at Elland Road with a fierce, dipping strike after 13 minutes and Arsenal striker Danny Welbeck headed home with 14 minutes remaining to send Gareth Southgate's side to Russia in good spirits.
England will go into their World Cup Group G opener against Tunisia in Volgograd on Monday, June 18 on an impressive 10-game unbeaten run.
"I feel in good physical form leading up to the tournament," said Rashford.
"I still need to get in the box a bit more to finish off chances.
"It means a lot to be involved but going to the World Cup and playing a major part is my main aim.
"We have got a good chance. Anything is possible and we have to go there with the highest expectations."
