Declan Bonner

This week, I headed for the virtual hills of Donegal to speak to Declan Bonner - part of that famous 1992 Donegal team, a corner-forward with a wand of a left foot.

In managing his county at the tender age of 32 and returning for a second stint, setting standards in Ulster and beyond, Declan has seen huge change in that time in regards to the level of professionalism and the manpower needed to run a top-tier team. Currently in his third year and having two Ulster Championships in a row under his belt, he is someone right at the top of his game.
