Saffrons are put to the sword by deadly Dubs

Antrim suffered their second successive Walsh Cup defeat at DCU as Dublin turned in an impressive second half performance to run out emphatic 14-point winners.
The Ulster champions had only trialled by a point at the break and Niall McKenna levelled proceedings on the restart but a unanswered burst of 1-3 from the Dubs, including an excellent goal from Eamon Dillon gave the hosts the momentum to press on.
The Saffrons' challenge petered out in the final quarter as Dublin hit their scores with ease.
However, there was plenty of positives to take from the game for Antrim manager PJ O'Mullan who insists his focus remains on the National Hurling League opener against Derry on Sunday, February 14.
"I think for 40 or 45 minutes we contributed to a good game," said O'Mullan.
"The only date that is in our head at the minutes is Valentine's Day (against Derry)."
The game was pretty even until the 46th minute, when However, the Loughiel Dillon's bullet of a shot found the bottom corner of the net.
The goal signalled the beginning of the end for Antrim as the home side outscored their rivals 1-9 to 0-6 in the final quarter of the game with Ryan ending the game with 1-8 to his credit. Sean O'Reilly capped an impressive cameo with a well-taken goal on to put Dublin 3-18 to 1-13 while Watson landed two points late on to finish with 0-9.
