Armagh’s Rian O'Neill and manager Kieran McGeeney celebrate victory over Donegal

A snapshot in Clones. Rian O’Neill of Armagh is on the ball. He switches one way as he sizes up his route to goal at the Eastern Stand, or the Roslea Road End as it used to be called.

He goes one way, checks back and assesses everything. He is in between the Donegal defensive lines but nobody commits to the tackle. In his own sweet time, he pulls the trigger. It’s a point, but it’s much more than that as Donegal’s defiance crumbles.
