Clancy to stay with Laois

Veteran Laois midfielder Padraig Clancy has committed himself to another season.

There had been speculation that the Timahoe man may call time on his inter-county career, after he opted out for last year's NFL, before returning for the championship.

But he has informed new manager Justin McNulty that he will be on board for 2011.

Clancy's experience will be a huge boost to the O'Moore men as they bid to emerge from the shadows under former Armagh star McNulty.
