Connolly set for ban

Dublin attacker Diarmuid Connolly is set to miss the All-Ireland SFC final against Kerry after having a four-week ban proposed by Croke Park.

Connolly received a straight red card during the semi-final win over Donegal last Sunday.

The Dublin county board has requested a hearing before the Central Hearings Committee in a bid to have the suspension overturned.

Meanwhile, Dublin supporters will have an opportunity to meet the players and management this weekend at an open training session at Parnell Park on Friday evening.
