Cooper fit for Nemo clash

Colm Cooper has been passed fit to play for Dr Crokes in Sunday's Munster Club SFC final against Nemo Rangers, but midfielder Johnny Buckley is doubtful after picking up a knee injury at training.

The Cork champions are injury-free for the twice postponed decider at Limerick's Gaelic Grounds, and manager Eddie Kirwan is looking for a big performance from county star Paul Kerrigan.

"When you're in confident mood, you're in confident mood, after a year like the county team had. He has been in superb form and we'd be looking for him to continue that," said Kirwan.

Dr Crokes manager Harry O'Neill feels his team will be fresh, thanks to the fact that the weather forced the final to be postponed twice before Christmas.

"We had been on a run of six or seven games in consecutive weeks coming into the Nemo game, and there was probably a little bit of fatigue setting in, so I'm hoping that the month's break might stand to them and they might come into the game a bit fresher," he said."
