Crokes battle back to win

Dr Crokes of Kerry came from behind to score a 2-11 to 0-9 extra-time win over Aherlow of Tipperary in the Munster Club SFC semi-final.

Aherlow led by 0-6 to 0-3 at half-time, with Barry Grogan and Bernard O'Brien hitting stylish points.

An Andrew Kennelly goal brought Crokes level, but they needed a late Luke Quinn point to send the game to added time.

It was Quinn who scored the goal that clinched victory for the Kerry men, whose opponents in the final will be Nemo Rangers of Cork, 1-12 to 1-5 winners over Stradbally of Waterford in the other semi-final.
