Crossmaglen, Garrycastle will meet again

All-Ireland champions Crossmaglen will meet Garrycastle again after a thrilling Club SFC decider at Croke Park finished level at 0-15 to 1-12.

Crossmaglen may be forced to count the cost of a rash of late misses that handed their opponents a second chance.

The defending champions had the first-timers from Westmeath on the rack in the closing stages, but failed to take the chances that should have landed them a fifth title.

Three Dessie Dolan points and a 21st minute Patrick Mulvihill goal helped Garrycastle to a 1-8 to 0-7 interval lead.

Both side were reduced to 14 when Garrycastle's Tom McHugh and Crossmaglen Paul Kernan received second bookings.

Garrycastle led by five points at one stage, but Cross battled back to draw level through David McKenna, and missed a host of late chances to win it.
