Daly retains Dublin top job

Anthony Daly has been reappointed as Dublin senior hurling boss.

Another two-year term was formally ratified at a county board meeting.

There had been speculation over the former Clare star's future in the wake of Dublin's shock All-Ireland qualifier defeat to Antrim.

But Daly met with Dublin county board officials in recent weeks and agreed to stay on until the end of the 2012 campaign.

Daly's selection team of Ciaran Hetherton, Richie Stakelum and Vincent Teehan have also been reappointed.
