Davy retains Waterford top job
Waterford hurling manager Davy Fitzgerald has been reappointed for another season.
The former Clare star held off the challenge of three other candidates - former Kilkenny All-Ireland winning captain Eddie O'Connor, ex-Carlow boss Jim Greene and Michael Ryan.
Fitzgerald will take charge of the team for a fourth season, having guided Waterford to the All-Ireland final in his first year in charge in 2008, after a player revolt ousted Justin McCarthy.
Delegates at a specially convened meeting also unanimously approved the reappointment of Paraic Fanning and Pat Bennett as selectors.
