Derry recall McCloy

Former All-Star full-back Kevin McCloy has been recalled to the Derry squad.

New manager John Brennan has invited the Lavey man to join his panel, and the experienced defender, who won an all-Star award in 2007, has accepted.

Brennan, keen to retain a core of experienced players, has also persuaded Paddy Bradley to reverse his decision to retire, and veteran midfielder Fergal Doherty is also expected to return for another season.

There is, however, uncertainty about Enda Muldoon's involvement. Dogged with injuries in recent seasons, the 33-year-old is understood to be considering his future.
