New Donegal boss Jim McGuinness has appointed former player Damien Diver to his backroom team.
Diver's brief will be to work on the strength and conditioning of the players.
"I'm over the moon to be asked. When you don't win anything as a player this is almost like a second chance of helping the side. It's the very next best thing to actually being out there," said Diver.
"You miss that extra bit of buzz that goes along with championship day with the county. I'll be involved with the strength and conditioning aspect of things in the south of the county and I'll liaise with Jim."
