Dromid Pearses advance

Dromid Pearses of Kerry qualified for the All-Ireland Club JFC semi-final with a 1-8 top 0-5 win over British champions Cu Chullain in Birmingham.

The Munster champions went three points behind early on, but an Aidan Shine goal brought them level.

And with Kerry star Declan O'Sullivan playing a starring role, they led by two points at half-time.

The home side failed to score in the second half, while Dromid's Thomas Curran had the luxury of firing a penalty over the bar in the dying moments.

Dromid will take on Ulster champions Derrytresk of Tyrone in the semi-final.
