Dublin hang on for win

It was raining goals at Croke Park as Dublin survived a brave Mayo comeback to win by 4-15 to 3-13.

Diarmuid Connolly helped himself to a hat-trick, with Tomas Quinn also finding the net as the Dubs raced into a 14 points lead.

But the westerners fought back with two Jason Doherty goals and an Alan Freeman strike to go level.

However, Dublin regrouped and shot a string of points in the final quarter to extend their unbeaten record in NFL Division One.
