Dublin set for Croke Park

Dublin's home games in the National Football League could be played at Croke Park next year.

County board officials are negotiating with the GAA over the possibility of miving to headquarters and staging double-headers with the hurling, ladies football and camogie teams.

The Dubs have been using Parnell Park as their home base for many seasons, but with a capacity of just 10,000, the Donnycarney venue is unable to accommodate the county's huge fan base.

Should arrangements be put in place to play at Croke Park, the first big game at the stadium in 2011 could be Dublin's NFL Division One meeting with All-Ireland champions Cork on February 19.
